ADP (Average Draft Position)
The average pick number a player is being drafted at across public fantasy football leagues.
ADP Faller
A player whose ADP is moving down (being drafted later over time).
ADP Riser
A player whose ADP is moving up (being drafted earlier over time).
Auction Value
Estimated dollar cost of a player in a $200-budget auction draft.
Best Ball
A draft-only format where your top scorers auto-start each week.
Boom-Bust Player
A player whose weekly output swings between huge scores and duds.
Breakout Player
A player expected to make a major leap in production.
Bust
A player who badly underperforms their draft cost.
Bye Week
The week each NFL team doesn't play.
Consistency Score
How reliably a player scores near their season average each week.
Dynasty League
A multi-year league where you keep your entire roster.
Flex Position
A lineup slot that accepts an RB, WR, or TE.
Half PPR
Fantasy scoring that awards 0.5 points per reception.
Handcuff RB
A backup RB with league-winning upside if the starter goes down.
PPR (Points Per Reception)
Fantasy scoring that awards 1 point for every reception.
Red Zone Share
% of a team's red zone opportunities that go to a specific player.
Sleeper
A late-round pick with breakout potential relative to their ADP.
Snap Share
% of offensive plays a player is on the field for.
Stacking
Drafting a QB with one or two of his own pass-catchers.
Standard Scoring
Non-PPR scoring — no bonus points for catching the ball.
Streaming
Rotating a position weekly based on matchup instead of holding one player.
Superflex
A flex spot that can start a second QB.
Target Share
% of a team's passing attempts that go to a specific player.
Draft Tiers
Groups of players expected to produce at similar levels.
Waiver Wire
The pool of unrostered players you can add during the season.
Zero RB
A draft strategy that skips RBs in the first several rounds.
